PHP Developer required for a Massive online games retailer in Winsford
(CW7), based mere moments from Winsford Station - offering a substantial
salary of up to £45,000pa. The successful candidate will have the
opportunity to join a rapidly growing independent online retailer, as a
key senior member of staff - leading the way to the most modern
technologies.

As a Cutting Edge PHP Developer, you will be proficient in:

* PHP
* MVC
* MySQL
* HTML
* JavaScript (JQuery)
* Apache / Linux


The successful PHP Developer will hit the ground running and jump
straight into our impending endeavour of re-designing the e-commerce
site and all associated platforms, from the ground up - to better match
our evolving business.

Day to day responsibilities will include
development of brand new platforms, integration with key APIs,
maintenance and optimisation of the existing public site, backoffice
systems and external Sales channel API systems.

For us it's all
about getting up in the morning, and making interactive work that looks
amazing, functions beautifully and is as engaging as can possibly be!
Attnetion to detail, care and cutting edge technology is the foundation
of every single project.

The Ideal PHP Developer will have additional skills in:

* Cross browser responsive HTML/ CSS experience
* Experience with various open source technologies
* Lots of love for the gaming and entertainment industry (not essential but it always helps!)


We are moving towards full MVC framework - so we need somebody who will
be instrumental in helping with this. In business for almost 10 years
we are now the Biggest multi-brand Video Games retailer on Play.com, and
proud of it. We are branching out into Video Game Costumes and taking
GameSeek.co.uk back to its hardcore gaming roots and we love developers
in our office who know a thing or two about gaming.
