Java Server Developer, Cambridge, 12 month contract, upto £350 per day

Do you have specific knowledge of server development, ideally within an AWS/cloud based environment?
We
are working with a true leader in the games software development sector
- one of the world's most famous brands. They produce leading games
console titles from their dedicated studio based in Cambridgeshire. This
small and dedicated team have produced an impressive back catalogue and
are now working on a new key title due to be released during 2015.
They
are looking to recruitment an experienced Server Developer, ideally
with experience of developing scalable web services, as well as having a
very good knowledge of core Java development using Apache Maven. This
role is a 12 month Fixed term Contract, covering a maternity leave and
could potentially extend or even convert to permanent in the future.
Key Skills Required
- BSc, MSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Very strong core Java development experience using Apache Maven
- Experience of working on large scale network server applications
- Experience with development within a cloud based environment (AWS preferred)
- Experience working within an Agile environment

Ability to liaise closely with game designers, artists and programmers
to a high level - excellent communication skills therefore required
